Kolbus America is pleased to announce that Kolbus GmbH & Co. KG, along with all global subsidiaries, has successfully completed its self-administration process. The acquisition by Munich-based Max Valier Holdings ensures a strong and sustainable future for the iconic Kolbus brand, which celebrates its 250th anniversary in 2025.

This positive development marks the completion of a streamlined and strategically enhanced Kolbus operation. All product lines have been retained, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality machines and engineered solutions that Kolbus is renowned for. Notably, the AutoBox line has been relocated from the UK to Rahden, Germany, where it benefits from sophisticated engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

Kolbus also gains valuable resources through this transition, including access to Max Valier’s experienced engineering teams and modernized manufacturing facilities. These synergies position Kolbus for continued innovation and sustained growth in serving its diverse customer base.

For Kolbus America, the announcement signals continuity and confidence. Kolbus and Hycorr customers can rest assured of ongoing support and service under the stewardship of the new ownership. Kolbus’ global footprint remains solid, with ongoing commitments to quality and customer-focused solutions.

“We’ve worked diligently to ensure the Kolbus brand remains strong, and this transition sets the stage for continued innovation and growth,” said Jeff Dietz, President of Kolbus America. “With the backing of Max Valier Holdings, we are more focused than ever on delivering exceptional value to our customers and expanding our capabilities to meet evolving market needs.”
