Flexo Rotary Die Cutting

RD 115S production line for printed and die-cut corrugated packaging

The Kolbus RD 115S flexo rotary die cutter is made to the highest German engineering standards and produced at the world-class Kolbus manufacturing facility in Rahden, Germany. This rotary die-cutter is modular, robust and features cutting-edge technology to ensure phenomenal flexographic print quality on your boxes. The modular machine concept with servo direct drive technology allows up to eight total print modules for inside and outside printing in one pass, extended print module frames for optimum drying capability, slotter module for creasing and slitting, and the RDM 115 Multistacker for automatic single or multi-out pile stacking on pallets or dunnage, as well as multi-out nicked logs for bundle breaking lines.

Technology like the camera register system and motorized print plate skewing allow for fine adjustments to be made without opening the machine. The combined HMI system for the rotary die-cutter and stacker allows for a single operator platform that allows set-ups and adjustments for the line. The 4” thick cast iron side frames on the rotary die cutter and cast-iron motor brackets guarantee nearly zero vibration and precise print quality on a variety of corrugated board grades and flute combinations, including triple wall.
